‘Big Sale’ success
Burchell Edwards is pleased to report a successful start to its ‘Big Sale’ since launching early this summer. As part of a national network of branches, Burchell Edwards has placed over 1,000 properties into its ‘Big Sale’ campaign with almost a third already sold so far, proving that the local property market is alive and well.
The ‘Big Sale’ is one of Burchell Edwards’ most popular campaigns, featuring hundreds of reduced homes that benefit from extra marketing designed to help buyers and sellers achieve their dream home and stimulate greater activity across the local housing market:
“What our recent results show is that despite the doom and gloom we so often hear about in the housing market and the wider economy, coupled with uncertainties around Brexit and rising interest rates, there are still good levels of buyers and plenty of choice for people who want to move,” says David Plumtree, Estate Agency Chief Executive at parent company Connells Group.
“There is no doubt that today’s housing market is more challenging, but properties continue to sell well as long as they are correctly priced and proactively marketed by an estate agent who is prepared to work hard to get results,” continues David.
Burchell Edwards is keen to help more would-be sellers share in the success of its ‘Big Sale’, and urgently needs more properties to sell to meet the demand from people who are looking to buy in the area:
“There is a misconception that there is a lack of interest in moving home, but our figures show that there are still many people who want, or need, to move,” continues David. “The extra marketing that properties have received through our ‘Big Sale’ has really paid off. As well as making properties stand out, it has encouraged committed local buyers to pick up the phone or call into one of our branches.”
